Wall Unit Installed

3 Bookcases - 8' x 4' each

Each shelf has been dadoed with
supports to hold books without sagging.

This bookcase is made of Southern
yellow Pine. I used maple plywood for
the backing board, glued and nailed for
strength.

The doors are constructed from maple.
The inner door panels are maple
plywood and the outer frame has a
beveled profile.

No stain was used for color. This is the
natural wood finished with 3 coats of
clear satin varnish.

The left bookcase before top
and bottom face trim and
doors were added.

Notice the bottom of the
right bookcase has been cut
out to sit over the baseboard
and be flush to the wall.
This is a custom feature.
